On Sunday morning we loaded up the car and headed up north to Grandma and Grandpa A's house for a cookout and summer fun! We were celebrating Great Grandma A's arrival up north. Uncle Duane and Aunt Linda came from Toledo. Their daughter Kristin stopped by on her way back to Chicago. Good friends Al and Sandy came by to join in the fun too!

Great corn hole games took place
Lots of time on the water, here is Grandma and Grandpa taking Cara out in the paddleboat
Then Cara took a ride in Uncle Duane's kayak, while Grandpa was in the canoe, and Grandma and Aunt Linda strolled around in the paddleboat
Cara loved her kayak ride and did not want it to end
We had another uninvited visitor to our cookout. This cute little kitten came and would not go away. Cara even spilled half a bottle of bubbles on it and it didn't even care. So despite Grandma and Grandpa not wanting a new outdoor cat, they soon found themselves attached to this little cutie! We affectionately named it Bubbles! By the end of the name it was even coming to it's new name.
Thought this was funny, at the end of the day Scott helped Uncle Duane load up his kayak to take back home! What a fun day and great weather! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for hosting!
