Another Project

Will's First Day of "School"

We decided to enroll Will  in a parents day out program at Calvary Learning Academy, the same school where Cara went for preschool!  For now Will is going one day a week but we will probably increase to two days a week once he is used to going!  We went to the store and picked out a new backpack and lunch bag for school.  He also got new shoes for school too!  He was pretty excited on Wednesday morning to be heading to school. 

He started playing with the toys right away and didn't seem to care that I was leaving which was good.  When I picked him up that afternoon he looked up at me and smiled and said "all done" and I said yes time to go home so get your backpack.  He ran right to his hook and got his backpack and grabbed my hand.  So glad it went so well the first week!

Scott's First Day of School 2014

Seeing all the back to school pictures I wanted one to remember Scott's first day of his 18th year of teaching! 

 Not happy that summer is over already!

But happy to be teaching and doing what he loves every day!

Big Boy Bed

This behavior led us to getting Will a big boy bed so he doesn't hurl himself out and get hurt in the middle of the night

What a big boy!  So far he loves it!  He wakes up in the middle of the night and comes to our room anywhere from 2am-5am but it is getting better every day.  My baby is truly not a baby at all anymore now that we are out of the crib!

New Appliances

Time to update the kitchen!  The appliances were telling us they were about ready to die so we took the plunge and updated them all.  Our refrigerator was 15 years old and we had it cranked all the way to make it feel cold so we were afraid it was about to give out.  So our search for a new fridge led us to all new appliances so they would all match! 

Love, love, love the double oven!  It preheats so fast and will be great on big baking days!  It is convection also!

Concert at the State Fair

Bridgette Mendler was going to be at the State Fair on the Free Stage so even though it was a school night we took Cara!  Will stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa!  He wouldn't have enjoyed it.

State Fair 2014

First Day of 3rd Grade

Not only was it Cara's birthday but it was also her first day of third grade! Due to our redistricting she would be going to a new school this year!
