Disney Day 4, Hollywood Studios

Cara's second favorite park in Disney is Hollywood Studios! We love the Toy Story ride, the Animation part, The Little Mermaid Show, and much much more!  Her first request that morning was to go to the Animation building and draw and see what characters were around that morning!

Family picture with Mickey Mouse!

We all enjoyed drawing Jiminy Cricket in art class!

After lunch some of the big kids went to ride Star Tours and I took Cara to get her face painted!  She picked the unicorn and it was amazing to watch them paint it.  They did it so fast and it came out so neat!
With the heat this would drive me crazy to be all painted, but she loved it!  We went back to the hotel pretty early for swimming and rest so it washed off in the pool. But she loved it while it lasted!

Disney Day 3: Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and EPCOT

An early morning had us heading to the Grand Floridian hotel (my dream resort at Disney) to eat a Supercalifragilistic breakfast at 1900 Park Fare with Alice, Mary Poppins, Pooh, Tigger and the Mad Hatter!  We took a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then the monorail to the resort, again super thankful for my scooter and being able to take it on all modes of transportation!
All of us heading into breakfast
Cara and Alice!

Tigger with Grandma and Grandpa Fox
and with Grandma and Grandpa Abbott
And getting hugs from Cara
Cara was not too sure what to think of the Mad Hatter
But Pooh got a good snuggle!

After breakfast everyone was tired and not ready to take on EPCOT yet so we went back to the hotel for swimming and rest!

We arrived at EPCOT with not much time to spare before our dinner reservations but we enjoyed the sights as we made our way back to the world showcase.
It was the annual Flower and Garden show at EPCOT and we enjoyed seeing creations!

We had dinner at Teppan Edo!  The japanese hibachi restaurant

Cara and Mommy!
What a delicious meal!
fter dinner we made it to a few rides and then got a place to watch the evening light show with fireworks.  Because of my scooter we even had great seats in the handicapped area!  We wish we had more in Epcot but definitely enjoyed my afternoon of rest!

Disney Day 2: Magic Kingdom

We had a big day in the Magic Kingdom planned for Wednesday! We started off with an early reservation to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to get Princess ready for our day!
Getting beautiful with the help of her fairy godmother in training!

Cara chose pink hair this time, because pink hair is natural right?!
Got her nails touched up (she already had a french manicure so they just put a quick coat of light pink on top since it was included in her package)

Waiting in line to meet Tiana
Cara and Princess Tiana
The excitement on her face as Minnie Mouse was rounding the corner for the block party on the street is what make Disney so magical with your child!
Jumping up and down with excitement!

We had Royal dinner reservations at the castle with Cinderella greeting us in the lobby
Her Princess friends joined us in the dining room

Getting a better viewpoint from Daddy to watch the fireworks
And an evening stop to say goodnight to Mickey and Minnie made the day a great success
Just scanned in this picture of all of us with Cinderella before our dinner

Disney Day 1

Once again we chose to stay at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Although this year there was a surprise for Cara, they had newly redecorated guest rooms called Royal Guest rooms with Princess themes, designed by Princess Tiana and her friends. They upgraded the beds to 2 queen beds instead of 2 double beds.

It was in the 80's so an evening swim was in order.  Cara was modeling her new Minnie Mouse swimsuit, flip flops and sunglasses!

Cara and Daddy enjoying the pool.  They even went down the water slide in the big pool. This beached whale preggo Momma enjoyed floating and being weightless in the pool!
Everywhere you looked the details left by the princesses were amazing, here Princess Jasmine left Genie lamps for the faucets.
The headboards lit up with a firework display!

Our day included a nonstop airline flight from Indy to Orlando.  We hopped on the magical express and headed to the hotel.  We had a light lunch in the resort food court and inspected our rooms.  My scooter which we reserved had been delivered to the hotel and was ready for my use.  Everyone agreed that the least amount of activity for me would ensure a better trip for everyone, so as silly as I felt in the scooter it made for much better conditions for me.   So armed with my scooter we hopped on a boat to Downtown Disney and went to the World of Disney (the biggest Disney store there is), and then ended up at Planet Hollywood for our dinner reservation.  After dinner we went back to the resort, had a quick swim and headed to bed since we had a big day on Wednesday!
