Epcot 3/29/14, Last Day of Vacation

Had to get a giant Mickey Waffle for my last breakfast at Disney!
Then we headed back to Epcot because Cara really want to do the Phineas and Ferb mission

While we were in China we ran into Mulan who had a short line to we stopped to say hi

And then it rained.......
rained so hard for a while that you couldn't even see!  We trudged through inches of rain to go have lunch in Italy!  It was terrible, we were all soaked (except for Will) even though we had ponchos.  The rain was coming sideways and the sidewalks had about 4 inches of standing water because it was raining so hard.

Drying off on the bus back to the hotel!  What a wet way to end our day at Epcot but we had fun while it lasted!

Magic Kingdom March 28th

We can't get enough of the Magic Kingdom so we were ready for another day of fun!

How many times can you meet Mickey Mouse, it doesn't matter we still get excited every time

Now if only I had the photoshop skills to take all the extra people out of this picture and have it be my kids in the front of the castle!
Cara and I riding Splash mountain!
And then Scott and Cara riding it!
We had dinner at the Beast's castle that night!

an example of our delicious desserts!  the food was delicious but a bit overrated and I probably wouldn't waste a table service for this restaurant again, highly suggest waiting it out to go at lunch time as a counter service

Serious play at Buzz Lightyear!  Sad that Cara's head got cut off in the picture!  We were going to go back and ride again just to get a better picture but simply ran out of time!

Breakfast at the Grand Floridian and Hollywood Studios March 27th

Our day started with breakfast at the Grand Floridian hotel, the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast

We saw Tigger and Pooh again

And Mary Poppins
And Alice from Wonderland
and the Mad Hatter, who was pretty scary to Will
Then we hopped in a bus and headed to Hollywood Studios

Will was so excited to meet Buzz and Woody
Cara being a great photographer

I know, I know, matching shirts but when in Disney it is totally normal and acceptable!

He was excited to meet the cars but just wanted to touch them and not pose for a picture
Scott and Cara on the Tower of Terror while Will was napping in the stroller

Wednesday March 26th, Downtown Disney and "rest" day

When we plan to go to Disney for at least a week we love to plan a rest day in the middle.  Disney is downright exhausting and a day to sleep in, swim, and relax is a perfect balance to the craziness.
So after sleeping in the eating breakfast at the hotel we headed to Downtown Disney!

Cara posing in the Magic Mirror which changed her costume for her!

Beautiful canvas artwork for sale in the art store
Riding the boat to Downtown Disney!  It was a bit chilly but we love that our resort is on the same waterway and that we can just take a boat to get there

Cara was so excited to get this Frozen sweatshirt.  The Frozen merchandise was hard to come by, you would think they would be upping manufacturing of the wildly popular merchandise but it was very hard to find.
When we got back from DD Will was ready for a nap and Scott was thrilled to join him so Cara and I went swimming and did some laundry (lucky for me they are right next to each other).  It was only in the upper 50's in the air but felt warmer with the Florida sun shining upon us.  Thank goodness for heated pools!
We enjoyed a nice dinner at our hotel that evening and had planned to watch the movie on the lawn at our resort that night but when it came down to it snuggling down in out pajamas in our hotel room just sounded more appealing to all of us.  Had to get rested to finish the rest of the trip!

Luau

That evening we had dinner reservations for a Luau at the Polynesian Resort.  Unlimited beer and wine were included in this dinner, so besides great food we got great wine free!

On stage after the show
The Polynesian resort has a beautiful beach and beautiful view of the Magic Kingdom
