The Magic Kingdom Day 6

Some days Cara would ask to take her stroller and sometimes she decided she would walk for the day. On this day she decided to push it herself as we left the hotel.

First on the agenda was to meet Princess Tiana because we kept missing her the previous day we were at the Magic Kingdom. Prince Naveen was with her but Cara was scared of Prince Naveen and so he politely stepped aside so Cara could talk to Tiana.
Cara asked Tiana if she preferred being a princess or a frog: the answer was a Princess because she did not like eating bugs
She had a great view on top of Daddy's shoulders for the Castle show starring Mickey, Minnie, the princesses and a few other characters too
The end of the show and Mickey and Minnie are raised high above the crowd
Now time to ride the Magic Carpets (again!), this and Dumbo were easily her favorites!!
When we went to meet Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie, Cara ran up to hug Jasmine so hard that Jasmine fell over! Aladdin came to the rescue and picked them both up :)
So then Aladdin got a hug while Jasmine recovered
And a posed shot from all 3 of them
Waiting for the parade to start, we were right up front
Sharing a yummy Mickey ice cream sandwich with Mommy during the parade
Time to enter the Hall of Presidents! Cara really needed to "rest/nap" and so far this had worked like a charm every trip, our trusted nap place
And it worked again like a charm! Daddy carried her out and sat on the porch and held her for about on hour while she napped
So Mommy, Grandma and Grandpa went on the steamboat ride
On Dumbo again :)
Waiting in line to race cars
Cara got her official Disney drivers license and drove Mommy around the track (Mommy had to control the gas pedal though, not quite tall enough for that yet)
On Goofy's roller coaster again,, we were having a great evening going from ride to ride

Then we went back to the Magic carpet ride! For EVERY ride she only wanted to sit with Mommy but this time Daddy went to lift her in the front seat and I just hopped into the back so she was tricked to sit with Daddy and she did just fine :)
The evening firework show is always amazing! Scott captured a couple of really neat shots of it!

Day 5: The Animal Kingdom

As soon as we enter a park for the day Cara rushes to get a map and then inspects it thoroughly to show us what we will doing for the day!

First thing on the agenda that morning was breakfast at the Tusker House with Donald and friends!
Meeting Daisy, who is dressed in her Safari gear
And always happy to see Mickey
And Goofy too
From breakfast we went out on Safari to check out the animals

Scott was cracking me up with this "unabomber" look! He was incredibly tired this day. Turns out he had taken some tylenol for a headache and it was tylenol pm but he didn't know it. So this picture cracked me up: unabomber Scott, Cara with her "oh no" expression and me..... We were on the train to Rafiki's place to go to the petting zoo and to meet Pocahontas
Cara and her "friend" Pocahontas
Petting a goat outside
Walking on the curb waiting for the Finding Nemo Musical show
A random self portrait of us enjoying the sunny day
I loved this picture because of the look of joy in Cara's face! She was just genuinely happy the whole trip (except for a few typical 3 year old moments)

Day 5 Part 2, the Luau

We wanted to try a few new things this trip so we went to the Spirit of Aloha Luau at the Polynesian Resort. In the spirit of going I decided to buy everyone matching Hawaiian shirts. Grandma took a shirt apart and then made Cara a dress out of one! Thanks Grandma!

Sporting the Luau theme, and yes we were the ONLY family in matching attire :)
The view of the castle from thePolynesian hotel, ...what a nice view and a nice resort
Seated at our table, awaiting us was salad, fresh bread, and pineapple, yum!
Not sure what face Cara is making but Daddy ordered the house specialty drink which came in a souvenir coconut!
They had a special tribute to those with March birthdays, can you spot Scott on stage dancing?
Another shot of the 5 of us
A close up of the Coconut drink holder
A couple pictures of the dancers
The fire dancer (I am sure he had a much more cool name that I have forgotten)
Cara intently watching the show

Day 4 Hollywood Studios

Day 4 was a trip to Hollywood Studios. It was a very cloudy day and the coolest one while we were there! Sweatshirts were a necessity this day!

Cara in line at Playhouse Disney
And a little cheek to cheek time with Mommy while waiting for the show to start
They had a wonderful play land from "honey I shrunk the kids" where you shrink down to the size of an ant to see what the world is like from that size. Cara enjoyed all the slides in the play area.
A little trip to NYC! Cara chose to take a picture of Mommy and Daddy by the subway
And Cara and Daddy coming up from the subway stairs
We found a place to get face painting and Cara thought that would be pretty neat. She picked the "tinkerbell" look, are you seeing a theme here?

All done and beautiful!
When we got back to the hotel that night we picked up our package which contained Cara's newest puzzle, Tink in the middle of all the princesses. We didnt want to carry it in the rain so we had it sent to the resort instead.
