Sunday afternoon fun

We love fun Sunday afternoons with a fire in the fireplace, relaxing, reading and playing! Apparently we played with the camera quite a bit this day because there were a ton of pictures when I downloaded our halloween pictures so I thought I would share some!

Love cuddles and cheek to cheeks with my girl!

Zoo Boo

We love going to Zoo Boo at the Indianapolis Zoo every year too! This year Aunt Cyndi, Grandma and Grandpa Fox joined in our fun!
Cara wore her Cinderella Bride costume, the one she is going to wear on Halloween!

The candy stations were her favorite stop!

The zoo has a new baby elephant who is simply adorable!

Annual Pumpkin Carving Party

We hosted our annual pumpkin carving party with the Kluemper's and McMillan's this year. The kids are all a bit older, but still not old enough to really help out the process!
We started with a dinner of pizza, breadsticks, and salad!

Lacey was smart and brought paint for the little ones to paint their pumpkins!

Reece decided to try to eat the paint, but no worries it was non-toxic and washable!

Everyone's finished pumpkins!
The whole gang at the end of the night, we had some squirrely kiddos who let us know it was bedtime!
Scott and I had to go light our pumpkins!
Thanks for the fun evening friends!!

Fall Break, part 2

Scott and I drove up to Ft Wayne on Friday since he was finally on fall break. Everyone was excited to go to Halloween at the Zoo at Ft Wayne Children's Zoo!
Cara chose to wear her Cinderella dress for the occasion!

They had a bracelet making station!
Cara met Broomhilda, a friendly witch!
We were practically the only ones in the zoo that day, it had rained earlier in the day but no rain and no crowd made for a great trip!
Posing with all the Princess pumpkins

These pumpkins were amazing, but lost some of the effect with the flash of the camera!

A tired princess needed carried by Daddy!

We took a ride on the scary train (but don't worry it wasn't scary)!

Cara got to pick a little pumpkin to take home!
We closed out the zoo at 6pm but stopped for a group picture on our way out!
Cyndi and I got into the spirit with our witch hats!

Fall Break, part 1

For Cara's fall break she got to have a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Abbott's. We met them at Cracker Barrel on Thursday so she could spend the night before we came up on Friday.

Aunt Cyndi rode along with us

Fall Concert

Cara and I love going to Daddy's school for concerts! This concert was amazing and we are so thankful we were there to experience it! His bands already sound amazing (which sometimes the first concert of the year can be a little scary!)

Started off with the Rossville Jazz Orchestra

Daddy and his girl!
Cara wanted to dress like Mommy that night (except I could not find her black t-shirt)!  We had a great time together!
