On Sunday we headed out for our annual trip to the Apple Festival at a local orchard. Grandma and Grandpa F, along with Cara's cousins Dillon and Oscar met up with us for a hot afternoon of fun. It was by far the hottest Apple Festival we have ever attended, a nice 90 degree day in October. After a yummy lunch and apple dumplings with ice cream for dessert, we headed out on a hayride to the pumpkin patch. Dillon, Oscar and Cara found the perfect pumpkins! We then headed into the barn to pick out apples, apple cider, and caramel apples, then we called it a day. A little warm to enjoy all the festivities this year. But at least it was not raining!!
