Great Grandma Abbott passed away on August 28th, 2010. She was a wonderful lady who dedicated her life to hours and hours of volunteer work. She started a beautiful butterfly garden in Florida and was President of the Eagle Audubon Society in Florida for many years. Her memory started failing a couple of years ago and last summer everyone decided it was in her best interest for her to live closer to family. Lucky for us she was moved to Ft. Wayne. It gave Cara the past 14 months to play and interact with her Great Grandma! We are so fortunate to have had this time to visit and share special occasions with her. We are so glad she was able to celebrate Cara's past 2 birthdays with us and she spent Christmas with us. She will be sadly missed but know she is at peace with her mind now in heaven!We have many pictures of Great Grandma and Cara but I just love this one. Their smiles and genuine and they are both delighted just to be in each other's company!!
