1st day of First Grade

Cara's school switched to a balanced calendar this year and will have 2 weeks off in October, Christmas and Spring Break and only 8 weeks off in the summer. So August 2nd was her first day of First Grade!

We were at school in time to see her get off the bus

And get settled into her new classroom with her teacher Mrs. Heckman

And Mommy made fresh chocolate chip cookies for her first day after school snack (a tradition I have done every year since she started preschool)
