It was killing me not to go at least somewhere on Spring Break so we headed up for a little weekend getaway to downtown Chicago. We got an awesome deal on a hotel through hotwire and ended up staying at the Hilton Suites right at Delaware and Michigan.
Our room had a pull out sofa in the living room area
And a king bed in the bedroom
After checking out the hotel pool and other accommodations we got dressed and ready to eat at the Signature Room on the 95th floor of the Hancock Building
Wonderful view of the city from our table, we could even see the Sears/Willis tower
Cara was a big girl and used a big girl water glass
Watching the sunset at the end of dinner was simply beautiful
Of course the destination following dinner was Water Tower Place, more specifically the American Girl store
Cara loved Kanani, the doll of the year (but no she did not get her)
Her and Elizabeth did score some new pj's/slippers while she proudly wore after our evening swim at the hotel.
