Cara had been sick for a couple of days and the day before was diagnosed with a ruptured eardrum at the doctor's office, so she was not really in the party mood and definitely not about to smile for the camera! Don't worry she got lots of extra lovin' from her Mommy, Daddy, and Grandpa and Grandma A! So this picture is not very good of daddy or Cara but it was the best we had to go with!
On Saturday Daddy's jazz bands were performing in a jazz contest at a high school in Fort Wayne. Despite some major bus trouble and arriving 2 hours late, we were treated to some wonderful jazz music.
They went straight from the bus to the warm up room, to the stage to perform!
Cara was INTENTLY watching and tapping the beat with the band, it was so cute
Our best effort of a pic of the 3 of us, Cara was pretty wound up and feeling pretty good Saturday morning, we timed the ibuprofen right!
A lilttle blurry, but my only pic of her full ensemble outfit for Valentine's Day!We went back for a rest at Grandma and Grandpa A's house after watching the high school jazz orchestra and Cara crashed hard! Her afternoon was not as good as her morning and we had to skip our friend Owen's 4th birthday party! Cara was devestated once we were in the car heading back home and realized we never went to Owen's house because she knew it was planned! I promised her next time!
Hope everyone got lots of cuddles from their Valentine this weekend! Aunt Cyndi will be visiting us in a couple of days so I am sure there will be lots more pictures to come!!!

Will see you all soon and we will all head to the airport to pick Cyndi up. I know we will have a lot of play time and fun things to do while she is visiting.

Hope Cara is feeling much better. Her Aunt Cyndi will be so suprised at how big Cara has gotten in 1 & 1/2 years.
