Let It Snow

Between Tuesday and Wednesday we received a nice winter blast of more than one foot of snow! Cara was so excited to go outside to play in the snow and build a snowman, unfortunately it is a really light powdery snow that doesn't pack.



Here is Scott using the new electric power shovel to clear the snow, it was a Christmas present just this year from me and it has been quite handy the past couple of weeks

Cara grabbed her shovel and wanted to help Daddy clear the snow

Daddy was trying to build up snow to make a snow fort, but again the snow was too light

Mommy had to make a snow angel

Now here I am sitting up

And I thought Cara would like sitting on my lap in the snow but she was not enjoying it

It is a gorgeous winter wonderland right now! Daddy got an extra day to stay home from work and we got to enjoy the day together, even if it was spent shoveling out our driveway and Grandma and Grandpa F's.
