Surgery Day

Will had to get ear tubes after having 5 ear infections last year!  Cara needed to get her ear tubes out because they are only allowed to be in for 2 years and her left ear hadn't fallen out on its own.  So we scheduled both kids to have their procedures on the same day at St Vincent Hospital!

All done and did great!  I didn't get a picture of Will because he was a mess for quite a while!  He was so fussy and out of sorts and then his face was so red and blotchy from crying so much, poor buddy!  But like a light switch the meds must have worn off and he hopped off Scott's lap and was acting completely fine!  We celebrated with a yummy breakfast at Cracker Barrel!

19 Months and Counting...

These pictures were a couple of weeks after he officially turned 19 months but wanted to capture him at this age!  He is a wild boy!  Loves to make messes, be independent, loves his blankies very much, loves to eat on his own terms, is a pretty good night sleeper in his cribs, doesn't talk but a few words but we always know exactly what he is "saying", can do some sign language for things like more, all done, please, and milk.  He adores his big sister and always wants to be by her when she is home, he interrupts her playdates, steals her Ipad if she sets it down and loves to play with her.  What a biggie boy that is loved by so many!

Christmas Part 3

We were supposed to go up to Ft Wayne to do Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Abbott at their house a few days after Christmas but they got sick that weekend so we had another Christmas celebration at our house on New Years Eve!

Christmas At The Zoo

Our December calendar filled up quick and we didn't make it to Christmas at the Zoo before Christmas so we decided to go one evening right after Christmas when it wasn't too cold to be outside!

 We went with Grandma and Grandpa Fox and cousins Vince and Charlotte

Time to go inside and decorate cookies and make crafts!  This is the building where Santa usually is so it was not crowded at all since he was already gone for the year!

Christmas 2013

If only these pictures could do justice to the glee and giddiness of the kids opening their presents!  Pure joy and love!  Made my heart happy to watch the joy in their eyes with getting presents they so desired!

Our children lovingly slept in until almost 9am since we had them up late for "midnight" mass (mass was actually at 10pm) but we got them in bed at almost midnight!  

Love love love memories like the ones made today!  Next year Will will have a better understanding and be even more interested but just watching their happy faces made this a magical day!  Scott, Cara and Will spoiled me with new clothes and jewelry and we got Scott new clothes and gift cards for more new clothes since all of his clothes are way TOO BIG!  Way!  Congrats on the weight loss Scott, so proud of you!

We shared our Christmas day with Grandma and Grandpa Abbott and Aunt Cyndi!  We watched movies and feasted on a giant breakfast brunch and later in the day had a turkey feast!  I guess I never got the camera out again to document our day but we had a terrific day celebrating the birth of Jesus!
