Baby Jail

For Will's safety we purchased a large gate to block off the family room from the rest of the house.  That way he is safe with all his toys in the gated area and can no longer sneak off to the cat bowls of food and water, cat litter box, or bathroom.  Ever since he got mobile he became very adventurous.  He is not a fan of baby jail but will tolerate it if we are in there playing with him.  If I leave him to go make dinner, etc he is one unhappy camper who stands at the door and hollers!

Officially 9 months today!

 Always on the move...

 Usually he is found at the fish tank or playing with the cat bowls of food and water

Has a new love for the Ipad...especially loves watching Mickey mouse shows

9 months and growing every day!  At his 9 month doctor appointment he weighed exactly 20 lbs!  He still loves to eat.  We are still breastfeeding and he gladly takes bottles when I am at work.  He adores his sister! Watches every move she makes when she gets home from school!  I love to watch them play together!
He loves baby food and is more adventurous with people food every day.  Still wears 6-9 month clothes and seize 3 diapers but we are about to transition to 9-12 month clothes, especially pajamas because they seem too short.   He sometimes sleeps all night, and sometimes gets up to eat once in the middle of the night.  We love watching him change and grow!

Being silly...

Cara thought it was funny to put her orange slice all the way in her mouth and Will has a new found love of the fish tank, obsessed!

I am mobile and into everything

 Destroying the DVD and Wii shelf is one of my favorite pasttimes!

 Mommy and Daddy couldn't wait for me to officially crawl and look at me now!

Valentine Celebration

Since I was scheduled to work the night of Valentine's day we celebrated with a yummy meal and presents a little early.

Cara helped me set the table extra fancy!

We had steaks, baked potatoes, salad and homemade pretzel rolls

Cara got a stuffed animal that has a recorded message from Mommy and Daddy.  We had got one for Will for Christmas and she loved it and kept sleeping with it so we got her one so Will could have his back!  She named her Lovey and sleeps with her every night!

Will got some wagon wheels and a Monkey teether that makes noise and is fun to chew on

and a big box of chocolates for the family to share!

Snider Jazz Fest

Every year Scott brings his jazz orchestra to the Snider High School Jazz Fest in Fort Wayne (his alma mater)! The kids and I drove up for the day to visit with Grandma and Grandpa A and support the band!

His small and mighty jazz orchestra consisted of 8 but boy could they play.  Out of 17 bands most of them having 20-30 on stage they scored in 5th place!  Pretty impressive for their size!

Mommy's Birthday

Another year older...sigh....but with my happy family I don't mind the number creeping up!  The whole family including both my brothers and their families, my sister in law, my parents and all of us enjoyed a yummo dinner at Coopers Hawk, my favorite restaurant!  Then my parents and Cyndi joined us back at the house for presents and cake!

8 Months Old Today

How has 8 months gone by so fast?  Will is so fun!  He is a happy and playful baby!  He loves food, loves to play and loves attention!  He gets up on all 4's and should start officially crawling any day now.  He loves watching Mickey Mouse on tv and loves being sung to!  Still adores his sister more than words!

We love you Will but please stop growing so fast!

Bath Time Fun

We got an inflatable tub to put inside our bath tub to make it a bit safer for bath time.  To say he loves it is an understatement.
