Disney Day 3: Epcot

March 22, Breakfast at the Grand Floridian and Hollywood Studios

Cara and I hopped on an early bus to Hollywood Studios so we could get fast pass tickets for the Toy Story ride because we knew if we waited until after breakfast there would not be any fast pass left

Then we met Grandma and Grandpa and Will at the Grand Floridian for breakfast!

Will was delighted to see the characters

 Wish these pictures came with sound because Will would laugh and squeal with delight at the characters and it was so cute!  You never know how a kid will react and he LOVED them!

 Well...I should say he wasn't too fond of the Mad Hatter, can't say I blame him as his voice is a bit annoying!

 We were one of the last families eating breakfast so the characters were just walking around at the end and we were able to get Alice and the Mad Hatter together.  Mary Poppins walked right by and I asked her to join in but she just kept going.  Snooty Mary Poppins :)  she completely ignored Will when she came to our table!

Then we went back to Hollywood Studios for the day for rides and fun!  Here we are waiting for the afternoon parade to start!


The big bonus of the day...Daddy arrived at 11:00pm! Woohoo!  He couldn't take an extra day off work so he had to fly out after teaching on Friday but we are so glad he is here now!  We all would have waited and come on Friday but it was over $200 cheaper per ticket to leave on Thursday so we saved some money by heading down a day early!

Walt Disney World Day 1, March 21

After a super early wake up call of 4am, we boarded a nonstop flight from Indy to Orlando at 7:00am.  Both kids did great on the plane.  Will took a nap for a little while but was happy and playing when he was awake!  We arrived at our hotel and were too early to check in so we grabbed a late breakfast at the Food Court and then boarded a bus to Downtown Disney for some shopping and a late lunch!

At the Lego Store!  Cara LOVES the Lego Friends collection so this Lego person was pretty neat!

We had a nice lunch at Planet Hollywood. We even had our own private dining room which was nice with the kids but I never got out my camera to take a picture!

Boat ride back to the resort to check into our rooms and get in some swimming before bedtime!

My little fish definitely loves the water!

heading for 8 days of fun, sun and Mickey the Mouse!  Can't wait.

St Patrick's Day!

March 14th!

March 14th was quite a busy day for us! Cara had her 1st grade music program and it was also Daddy and Grandma Fox's birthdays! I made a delicious (if I must say so myself) dinner of pork tenderloin, corn, mashed potatoes, and crescent rolls that we all enjoyed before heading to Cara's school for her program!

Happy Birthday Scott! Not quite as fun as your surprise party last year but hope you still had a great birthday!

For Will's safety we purchased a large gate to block off the family room from the rest of the house.  That way he is safe with all his toys in the gated area and can no longer sneak off to the cat bowls of food and water, cat litter box, or bathroom.  Ever since he got mobile he became very adventurous.  He is not a fan of baby jail but will tolerate it if we are in there playing with him.  If I leave him to go make dinner, etc he is one unhappy camper who stands at the door and hollers!

Other than holding onto Cara's hair the entire time we got some cute pictures of these two playing!  Sorry for the hair pulling Cara!

Officially 9 months today!

 Always on the move...

 Usually he is found at the fish tank or playing with the cat bowls of food and water

Has a new love for the Ipad...especially loves watching Mickey mouse shows

9 months and growing every day!  At his 9 month doctor appointment he weighed exactly 20 lbs!  He still loves to eat.  We are still breastfeeding and he gladly takes bottles when I am at work.  He adores his sister! Watches every move she makes when she gets home from school!  I love to watch them play together!
He loves baby food and is more adventurous with people food every day.  Still wears 6-9 month clothes and seize 3 diapers but we are about to transition to 9-12 month clothes, especially pajamas because they seem too short.   He sometimes sleeps all night, and sometimes gets up to eat once in the middle of the night.  We love watching him change and grow!

Being silly...

Cara thought it was funny to put her orange slice all the way in her mouth and Will has a new found love of the fish tank, obsessed!
