Kid Birthday Party

After a long day and playing outside for several hours and about a 100 trips down the water slide she finally opened her presents from her friends


What a fun day!  Thanks everyone for making her kid birthday party one of the best days of her life!

Birthday Water Slide

We got a 22ft water slide to use at Cara's birthday party and since they delivered a day early we got to try it out Friday evening!  Super fun!

Chicago Birthday Fun

Grandma Fox, Cara and I headed to Chicago at the last minute for a birthday celebration at American Girl.  We got a great hotel rate on Hotwire at the Whitehall Hotel...it was a tiny hotel but for just one night it worked out just fine!

Cara modeling her Cinderella bride outfit.. from our shopping trip at the Disney store.  One of the best Disney stores outside of Disney World!   She picked out this outfit and wants to wear it for Halloween this year!

Anniversary Dinner at the Melting Pot

We almost always go to the Melting Pot for our anniversary! We enjoyed a fabulous meal and dessert!  Yummy! Happy 14 years!!

Silver Lake Day 4..then heading home

We headed to the Sands Restaurant for a yummy brunch on our last morning at Silver Lake!







After brunch was a promise to take Cara to ride bumper cars







The smiles and giggles were contagious



We couldn't leave Silver Lake without a stop at the ice cream shop!


On our way out of town we stopped at Fox Farms Market and Winery!  What a fun family vacation!
