Gingerbread House Time

Cara was so anxious to put together our gingerbread house after Grandma Fox brought us a kit!

We put the house together and went to run our errands for the day while it dried so we could decorate it before I went to work that evening

Deep concentration
Having fun with my favorite girl!

She said the icing was pretty yummy too :) Nice job sweetie on your gingerbread house!

Cara and Santa

Cara and Daddy went to visit Santa at the mall one evening while Mommy was at work. Our pictures of Cara with Santa at Disney did not come out very good so we wanted a good picture for her Santa book.

She was very excited to tell him what she wanted
She got animated with her hands talking about it
And Santa thought she was pretty funny
She is hoping he brings her a baby she can feed and a washer and dryer for her doll house

Kitten on the mantle...

So the other day I walked downstairs to find a kitten just sitting from a new viewpoint. Despite the kitty condo right next to the fireplace every day they have never once climbed over the the mantle but now with new stuff on there they had to check it out! Luckily I always have a camera charged and ready for use close by!

Christmas tree decorating...

Thursday evening after her Christmas program we finally put up and decorated the Christmas tree!

Cara choosing which ornament to put on first
Getting a lift from Daddy to reach higher
The kittens were in awe of the tree
of course many ornaments were on low because Cara placed them, the kittens thought they were great batting toys
A little snooze on the tree skirt is always nice too
Aaww...sleeping together

Christmas Program

Cara's Pre K class held their Christmas program on December 9th!

Cara led the class in while carrying a star
Their music teach Mrs Conway was helping to place them for their performance
Their first song was "Do You Hear What I hear?" and they all had a prop for a part in the song
This was from I'm a Little Pine Tree
This was from the Christmas cookie finer play

Cara with mommy and Daddy

Cara's cheering section: Daddy, Grandpa A, Grandma A, Grandpa F
Cara at the reception after her program. What a terrific program! Thanks for Grandma and Grandpa Abbott for coming down for it, and to Grandpa Fox too. Grandma Fox had to work since we had just come back for vacation but we taped it for her!

Day 8, Last day at Hollywood Studios

We got packed up the night before so we could check our suitcases and head to Hollywood Studios for one last day before our evening flight home. Cara had picked out Eeyore as a souvenir and wanted to carry him to HS.
We were in the opening gate crowd because we wanted to make sure to get tickets to Toy Story since we would only be at the park half of the day we had to be early because those tickets go fast!
So Scott ran ahead and got us fast pass tickets while Cara and I went straight for the line. This was the first time we have ever waited in line because we have always done fast pass. This talking Mr Potato Head was funny!
We LOVE this ride!
Cara was excited to see the Beauty and the Beast show again

Our last Disney snack: popsicles, Mickey bar, and a Mickey ice cream sandwich, yum!
And our last lunch at Disney, we had to go to Toy Story Pizza Planet since we had not there yet this trip! What a fun day! We rode Toy Story twice, spent time in the animation studio, drew Buzz Lightyear at drawing class, rode everything we wanted to and rushed back to the hotel to get on the bus to go to the airport!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Fox for going with us again! We love sharing our Disney memories with you!

Day 7 Back to Magic Kingdom and Cinderella's Castle

Once we found out that they were taping the WDW Christmas Day parade on this day we decided we were not in any hurry to head to the Magic Kingdom, although we did have to go because we had dinner reservations at the castle! So we did our big shopping trip to Downtown Disney in the morning, had lunch at a fabulous Irish restaurant for lunch and after a nap we got Cara castle ready!

We did our own version of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique this year. Saved us some money and she looked just as cute!

Mommy and Cara on Dumbo ride and if you look between us you can see Scott on the ride behind us!

Cinderella and Cinderella Cara with her doll Elizabeth. We allowed Elizabeth to come along for the evening since she was in her fancy Belle dress!
This was the first time the Princesses have been at dinner, typically they were only there for breakfast or lunch and only the mice and fairy godmother were there at dinner. So we were very pleasantly surprised!
Aurora and Cara
Ariel and Cara
I captured this picture (my most favorite one) when they announced Belle was coming out because Cara was so excited to show her Elizabeth.
Belle was so sweet looking at Elizabeth and talked to Cara for quite a long time

Dessert was make your own ice cream sundaes complete with Mickey sprinkles, etc
Through the castle window you can see the fireworks, we stayed inside after eating to watch them. It was amazing to be sitting in the castle enjoying the view!

Another fun day!
