After this she wanted to go to the hotel for a little rest! Since our day started so early we were all ready for a little rest so it was a great idea!

Vacation Day 2: Magic Kingdom
Our day started early because of breakfast reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table where would be visited by the Princesses during our meal!
We were allowed into the park before it officially opened, which is why Cara is the ONLY person standing in front of the castle before we went up to breakfast

Our stuffed french toast breakfast meal, super yummy!
Snow White dropped by
And Aurora
And Jasmine
And Belle
Then off to ride "It's A Small World"
and then the Buzz Lightyear Ride, she wanted to sit with just Mommy so she could "shoot"
Later in Toontown we went on Goofy's roller coaster, which was a huge hit
So we walked over to Frontierland to ride "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad" since she was tall enough this time and said she loved roller coasters...... but this one, not so much!
Heading back to the Magic Kingdom she wanted to wear Tinkerbell to go visit the Fairies in Pixie Hollow.
But we made a stop in the Princess tent first because their line was shorter! Cara and Cinderella
And Belle in her ball gown this time
And in Pixie Hollow to see the fairires
She loved her visit with Tinkerbell

Riding Dumbo at night, the fireworks started while we were on the ride, what an amazing view!
We rode Snow White's Scary Adventures next! why do they have to make any rides at Disney scary??
Our day was complete! Stopped off for beverages at the hotel on the way back to the room! Whew, what a day!!!
Disney Vacation March 2010 Day 1
I was delusional to think I would have time to quickly blog while on vacation at Disney! It's not like the old times when Cara would take an afternoon nap at the hotel while we rested and caught up on the computer. Now it is go, go, go!!! So I will do my best to recap our vacation in a timely manner!
Day 1 we arrived at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside hotel courtesy of Disney Magical Express which picked us up at the airport. We got all checked in and for once had no issues with having a connecting room with Grandma and Grandpa!
Our room!

Happy Birthday Daddy
Sunday was Daddy and Grandma Fox's birthday! Mommy's back was out of commission that day, so it was a bit of a rough day! But I think Daddy still enjoyed the day!
Birthday cuddles from Cara
Helping Daddy with his cards
And helping him open his presents too
Such concentration on both of their faces!
Happy Birthday Daddy and Grandma Fox! More celebrating will occur next week in Disney when Mommy's back is better!

Our little Ballerina
For ballet class this past week they had to come dressed in their recital costume and makeup for ballet pictures!
We were trying to take some pictures at home after she was dressed and ready but she was not cooperating
But once at ballet and watching all the other Mommy's snapping pictures she obliged
She was supposed to have full makeup: foundation, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and RED lipstick! So funny! This girl is blessed with GORGEOUS eyelashes and her eyes were stunning!
And throwing a little pose in too

Jazzy Saturday
Last Saturday the Jazz band and jazz choir from Scott's school performed in Brownsburg so we had everyone over here for a cookout after their performances!
We asked that everyone take off their shoes when they entered! We had about 40 people over! We were thrilled that the weather cooperated and we were able to have people eat outside, in the screened patio and all over! We even had cornhole games and Cara enjoyed having a couple new friends to play on her swing set with!
Playing in her play house
Oh slide, how Cara missed you over the winter

And a new favorite activity is playing ball! She is pretty good at swinging and hitting!
We are thrilled to have sunshine and warm days again! Definitely tired of being cooped up inside for the past several months!

Saturday fun
Last Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Abbott were here visiting for the weekend! We had a fun day and wished Aunt Cyndi and Uncle Danilo had been here to join us.
Cara and I made Aunt Cyndi's delicious brownies from scratch!

Cara did a great job of stirring all the ingredients together
Then we had yummy chicken nachos for dessert! The grownups enjoyed frozen margaritas while Cara enjoyed some pink lemonade in her fancy glass!
Cheers!
Delicious! Wish you could have been here to join us Aunt Cyndi! We will have to recreate this meal when you are here!

February Birthday Party
I know, I know....still trying to get caught up from February! I still can't believe we are into March already!
Oscar and Cara hugged when they first saw each other! So I grabbed the camera and asked them to do it again!
The hug became a tackle!
Later they were all playing with paper airplanes! It was so fun watching them all play with one thing together!

Trying to capture the fun and frenzy paper airplane time!
And Grandma made 3 birthday cakes so we all had one!
We had a party to celebrate the February birthdays in the family; mine, Great Grandma Edwards, and Grandpa Fox's. All the grandkids enjoyed playing together!
Thanks for hosting a fun birthday party Grandma and Grandpa!

New Princess Magazine
Cara was so excited when her first issue of Princess magazine came in the mail the other day. This was a Christmas gift from Uncle Danilo and Aunt Cyndi! She was so excited flipping through the magazine. There are activities, puzzles, stories and more in each issue. This issue was dedicated to Princess Ariel!

Pure joy and excitement with each page turned!
