Hollywood Studios

Friday morning we headed out to Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Waiting for the Playhouse Disney show to start! Again, loved the smile!

We had a late breakfast that morning with the characters from PLayhouse Disney at Hollywood and Vine! Here Cara is talking to Goliath.

And she was pretty happy to meet June

And Leo from Little Einsteins

And Goliath's friend Jojo

We toured the Art Animation Studio and saw story boards and a film clip for the new Disney film Princess and the Frog
Cara was so excited to meet Sorcerer Mickey! She talked and talked to him, it was so cute!

She left by giving him a big kiss on the nose. Then it was time for Mickey to go "take a break" and he was walking with us and grabbed Cara's nose and they were being so cute together. She was beaming and it was so sweet!

We finished the afternoon with the show Beauty and the Beast! Then we headed back to the hotel for a nap because we had big plans that evening. More on that to come!

Epcot

We headed off to Epcot for more Disney fun on Thursday!

The EPCOT Spaceship Earth

Giving Stitch a hug

And meeting Daisy Duck

We found a food court for lunch in the Land pavilion and Cara and I sat down at a booth while everyone else went to get their food. Within about a minute Cara was passed out asleep on the bench and slept there for another 2 hours! Luckily she got refreshed enough to walk around the world!

And meeting Mary Poppins while walking through England

Seeing Beauty and the Beast in France

We found this great place to get your picture taken and added to a puzzle. Cara of course chose the Princess puzzle and loves it. She carried the bag herself the rest of the day and couldn't wait to take it apart which we made her wait to do at the hotel. My only wish was the she was wearing one of her costumes that day, but still a cute picture.

We went to Japan to eat dinner at Tappan Edo. They cook the food right at your table!

Our chef and lots of food!

Cara and Mommy eating with chopsticks. For Cara the food usually made it into her mouth from the chopsticks :)

After dinner we walked to Italy for pictures in front of the fountain. We had hoped to visit Aunt Cyndi while in Italy but no such luck this trip. Hopefully someday :)

Time for the fireworks and light laser show. Love the expressions on Daddy's and Cara's faces!
Another fun day down!

Disney Day 2 Magic Kingdom

One of my best "secrets" about Disney is to make a breakfast reservation before the park opens so you can get pictures on Main Street without the huge crowds. So that is what we did Wednesday morning.

Cara posing on Main Street. We gave her the option of which oufit to wear that day and she chose Minnie Mouse! Great choice!

All 5 of us in front of the castle

Cara RIGHT in front of the castle

Then we headed to the Crystal Palace for breakfast with Pooh and Friends
I loved this smile, genuine and the reason for our return trips to Disney

Tigger stopped by our breakfast table to say Hello!

And so did Pooh

And a big hug to Eeeyore

And a smile for Piglet

Disney was decorated for fall and Halloween, this was the first time I have see it decorated for a season and it was just beautiful

Cara couldn't wait to see Mickey and Minnie that morning

And after that we stopped by the Princess tent, here she is with Cinderella

And with Belle

And Aurora

Time to change out of her hot costume and into more comfy clothes! The weather was hot and humid!! In the 90's with 90-100% humidity!
love her Minnie shorts! So she posed for a bootie shot! Now that she was much cooler and more comfy it was time to ride the rides!

Our traditional Buzz Lightyear picture, she loves controlling the steering while Daddy and I shoot away

Racing around, Cara is driving although you can barely see the top of her head in this picture

Afternoon Storytime with Belle, one of Cara's favorite things to do

Busy day and lots of fun but time to head back to the hotel for some swimming and rest

Walt Disney World Day 1

Yep, we did it! A Disney special offer was too good to pass up so we headed back to the Magical world of Disney for a vacation and Grandma and Grandpa Fox came with us again!

A quick snapshot of our hotel room in Caribbean Beach, one of the Disney hotels. Our room wasn't ready yet when we arrived so we hopped on a bus to Downtown Disney and shopped and ate at Planet Hollywood. Guess we were so busy I forgot to take pictures of any of this :)

But we got hot enough to run back to the hotel and hop into the swimming pool!

First Professional Hair Cut

The salon where Mommy gets her hair done was having a cut-a-thon this weekend to raise money for domestic violence. So we decided to take the opportunity to get Cara's hair trimmed up for the first time. We did have to really convince her that it was only to trim off the dead ends, she was devastated to think about getting her hair cut. I will remind her of this next time she is fussing when I comb it or style it!

They cut her hair dry which made the whole adventure a little less scary to her!

Wetting it down afterwards to get the curl back in it!

All done and beautiful!

Catching Up

Trying to get the blog caught up! Last week we took Cara to the dentist for the first time. Our dentist doesn't see kids until they are 3 (in case you were wondering why this was her first visit). She did really well and was excited to pick out a toy at the end. She did ask them if they had suckers instead of toys (like the bank does she said to them). She didn't really understand that the dentist was not a big fan of candy :)

Getting her pretty teeth all clean!

I thought she looked really cute for school on Monday so I took this picture of her although she wasn't being very cooperative! She is still so excited about school and talks about it and can't wait for school days, which is great! She is in a class of 10 with two teachers and brings home SOOO many papers and projects that they work on. I just love that my fridge is covered with her artwork. This week she brought home the cutest pig made out of popsicle sticks and clothes pins, with a painted pig face. She has her first field trip in a couple of weeks too!

She is still really loving her ballet class! She will shows us some moves that she is learning. This coming week is "watch week" where we get to sit in during class and see her in action.

Labor Day Weekend

Yikes, I am so behind in my blogging! Need to hurry up and get caught up before our vacation next week!!
So back to Labor Day weekend..... We headed up north to Grandma and Grandpa A's house for the weekend for some fun and relaxation!

Here we are with Grandma, Grandpa A, Amy and Owen for the Auburn Parade. Unusual parade that started out great with a band and some neat cars and became the longest, oddest parade we have ever seen!

Cara and Owen enjoying their snacks and trying to stay entertained waiting for it to start

The kids were cute waving at the cars as they drove by

Later on that weekend we enjoyed a nice bonfire in the backyard at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They had a huge weed, limb, brush pile that was fun to set on fire!

The crowd watching the flames shoot high into the sky!

More picturesque as the night drew near and the flames were aglow!
We didnt plan ahead and have stuff ready to make smores, definitely have to do that next time!
Thanks for the fun weekend Grandma and Grandpa!

Princess Play Time

Cara was pretending to be the sleeping Snow White waiting for her Prince

And I played the Prince and gave her a kiss and woke her up

Cara and her friend Grace playing Princesses, so fun
