Homemade Pizza Night

Scott made some homemade pizza dough so we could make our own pizzas and hope they taste like the delicious pizza in Italy.

So yummy!

They were delicious!  Have a huge brick oven to wood fire the pizza would be the only thing to make it better but the dough and toppings were so yummy!  Good job Cara and Scott!

Big Sister Love

Cara absolutely adores Will!  She dotes on him and is so sweet with him.  I look forward to watching their relationship develop over the years as he looks up to her and she is able to teach him.

 On a gorgeous late June day with the temperature  in the 70's we enjoyed a nice family picnic outside for lunch and then busted out the camera to capture the faces and smiles of our family time!

3 weeks old today!  Capturing every moment of you because babies grow so fast!  I don't want to miss a moment!

Will's First Trip to Grandma and Grandpa Abbott's

 He was a bit too small to enjoy the pool this time, but in time he will  hopefully love swimming like his big sister and family

 We went to Grandma and Grandpa Abbott's house so we could all be together to celebrate Grandpa's birthday!  I brought everything up so Cara and I could decorate a birthday cake for him!

 Day 2 of lounging by the pool.  With the nice breeze and sitting under the big umbrella it was beautiful weather to enjoy sitting outside

I came downstairs the other morning to find this, a cat sitting in the empty diaper box I left on the counter the night before!  Glad the camera was close by!

Will and Conrad

Exactly one week after Will was born my friend Lacey delivered Conrad! We couldn't wait to meet him!

We had been out and Scott got Will out of his car seat and he just wanted to stretch out and relax against Daddy!  I thought he looked so long and scrawny I had to capture the moment with the camera!

Newborn Professional Pics

We took Will to get professional pics done when he was one week old!  We loved them.  He would not cooperate very well, didn't want to be sleepy enough to pose him but we got some good shots!  And if he really cooperated we would be in trouble because I had a hard enough time picking with what we had!

I had tears of joy streaming down my face as we drove home (thanks pregnancy hormones)!  I am so happy and feel so complete after welcoming William into our family and our hearts.  I didn't know my heart could expand anymore after the love of one child but it is true that your heart grows with each child.

Finally our family is back home and together

My tears resumed when we got home and I saw that my daughter, mother-in-law, and mother had decorated our house to welcome home our baby boy!  I love it!
