What A Belly!
We took this picture last week at 38 weeks 1 day. I wasn't too sure about sharing it, but after showing several people who said they liked it, I thought I might as well share it. Not quite a Vanity Fair cover, but me in all my pregnant glory nonetheless.

Presents from Italy
Peanut received two gift boxes all the way from Italy today from her Aunt and Uncle. She got the cutest t-shirt, jean dress, sweater and pink fuzzy outfit. She got bibs with the days of the week in Italian on them, Aunt Cyndi is going to have to teach her the proper pronunciation on them because I sure messed them up. We also received some items to represent Italian tradition when a baby is born. One is a large pink bow to place on your front door to announce the arrival of the baby. The other is little satin gift sacks filled with candy coated almonds that you pass out to celebrate the birth of the baby. We can't wait until we can place the bow on the front door. Hopefully we can send it back to Italy someday for them to announce the birth of their daughter. Thank you so much for the presents!!

Waiting....
Still waiting..... Just keeping busy with our lives here while we wait. I have still been working 3-12 hour shifts per week, still mowing the lawn as evidenced by the above picture taken on Sunday. This past weekend we went swimming, went walking, etc and nothing is making little girl budge! Just wanted to let everyone know there is no news yet!!

Birthday Celebration
A weekend visit from Mom and Dad A gave us the opportunity to celebrate a soon to be grandmothers birthday. We surprised her with a cake with her favorite homemade icing. We also presented her with a grandmother necklace with a charm representing Peanut. We had a fabulous dinner at St. Elmo's Steakhouse, followed by cake and ice cream, presents and then saw a movie. Don't even ask me to review the movie, I hated it!

Baby News
Some exciting baby news, and no she is not here yet, but we did have an ultrasound on Tuesday and got a peek at her. Her estimated weight was 7 lbs 5 oz on Tuesday, yikes. I always wanted to have a tiny little baby, apparently not going to happen. She was "practicing breathing" according to the ultrasound tech which is a great sign. She was too big to see much on the ultrasound but they did confirm that she is still a girl!
We are getting very excited and anxious! Looking forward to posting the big news one of these days!!

For my Sister....
It's festival time!
Three Rivers Festival Time!
That wonderful time of the year,
When people stand up and cheer,
And the spirits really get out and Shine!
Sooooo (growl), get out in the sun,
Show 'em your style,
Millions of events that will make you smile.
Aren't you glad?
It's Three Rivers Festival Time!!
Ok, so the festival is almost over, but the tune never goes away in July.

Our Cars
If you know us, you know that we are Honda enthusiasts, aka car snobs. Scott can tell you the horsepower and engine specs for about any car made thanks to Car & Driver and Motor Trend magazines. We wanted to share the pictures of our cars, mainly with Cyndi who also can appreciate our love of Honda.

Happy 9th Anniversary !!
Today we celebrate our 9th anniversary as husband and wife. I remember our wedding day like it was yesterday. It was such a great day! I married my best friend and was so looking forward to everything life had to offer as long as we were together. Though it has been a rollercoaster ride it is so worth every moment; all the sadness and heartbreak we have gone through together, to the pure joy and excitement we feel today. Happy Anniversary to my love!

The Nursery
The above pictures are from Peanut's nursery. As you can see her closet and armoire are stocked, the changing table is ready, the crib is ready, toys are waiting, all we need is the baby. I am sure there are still things that we need, but we feel prepared for her arrival now. We are very lucky that everything you see has been a gift. Scott and I have bought her one outfit and some socks. We will do our best not to spoil her, but I can't say the same for her grandparents!
